Equal numbers of primary and secondary school teams entered in this year's Wanganui Motor Turoa Tumblers Quiz Night, held in the Ruapehu College hall on Friday. The top three placings were, not surprisingly, all college teams.First place with 8 1 points out of a possible 100 were 'The Lost Boys' - Campbell Crossan, ■ Glen Most, Craig Dolman and Richard Shanks. In sec-
ond place with 811/2 points were 'The 4 Non-Blondes' - Sandra Smith, Trudy Nation, Vanessa Parker and Trish Tuthill. Coming third were 'Three Men and A Lady' - Daniel Forster, Justin Mackay , Greg Tuthill and Emma Forster (8 1 pts.) A primary school team that may be a force to be reckoned with at future quiz nights was '3H and a D' (24 1/2 pts.) The winning teams au-
tomatically go through to the Senior Quiz Night, to be held at Turoa Lodge on Friday 29 April, commencing 7.30pm. All 12 teams of four received prizes that included T-shirts, movie passes, ski rental and roller-blading vouchers. The bulk of prizes were donated by local businesses. Around $120 was raised from the night, the proceeds for Turoa Tumblers' equipment.
