Parent's say
# I always thought that the shortest distance between two points was a straight line but not anymore, it seems. Parents who wish to discuss anything contrary to the 'status quo' are told by those whose different expectations are being met - if you don't like it, get on the BoT and change things. Facts prove that to be an illogical answer and often mathematically impossible. If there are six places on a board and 20 unhappy parents...? It is illogical because it may be up to three years before the next BoT election and who is to guarantee that one will be elected? Two fine people I know got themselves elected to a board of trustees and the only changes they wrought were to themselves in the form of stomach ulcers! The statement that "parents will be able to have their say" should mean just that with no strings attached!
