It is vitally important the Council received feedback from ratepayers and residents regarding the level of interest in increasing rates to fund such a programme. At the meeting the Council will explain what could realistically be achieved by such a programme and how it is likely to affect rates. King Country Electric Power Trust Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Trust will be held on 15 April 1994 at the King Country Energy Ltd Office, Manuaute Street, Taumarunui, at 10.30am which meeting will be held open to the public while the Trustees consider and if thought necessary, pass the following resolution: That Clause 1.1 (f) of the King Country Electric Power Trust Deed be changed to read: "(f)" "Consumers" means any person, who at any appropriate date designated from time to time by the T rustees: (i) is named in the records of the Company as being liable (whether alone or jointly with any other person) under the terms of a contract between the Company and that person, for the payment of any amount payable in respect of the supply of electrical energy by the Company to an electrical installation within the District pursuant to that contract; or (ii) is named in the records of the Company as a person who owns or uses an electrical installation within the District which is connected to the Company's distribution network and who is or will be liable (whether alone or jointly with any other person) to the Company for the payment of any amount in respect of that connection to the company's distribution network". Explanation The effect of the amendment is to ensure that the benefits of voting and capital distributions of the assets of the Trust remain with the Consumers who from time to time are located within the King Country Electric Power Board's District as it was defined at the time the Board was vested in the Company (30 June 1993).
