College horse success
Ruapehu College's equestrain team were placed third overall in the teams event at the inter-school gymkhana held at Turangi on 25 March. Results: Juniors, Kushla Edgerton on Bolero, 1st dual jump with Cameron Morris 4th hit & out: 1st rider over hurdles, 2nd best combination, 4th pace and mannered. Cameron Morris 1 st flag race, 1 st dual jump (with Kushla), lst pace and mannered, 3rd in rider class, 3rd in best combination. Intermediate: Amanda Garland on Saffron Sky lst dual jump with Vitoria Duigan, 2nd flag race, 4th hit and out, 4th FEI Tam 3. Intermediate: Victoria Duigan, 2nd rider, 2nd best combination, 2nd pace and mannered, lst dual jump with Amanda Garland, 2nd FEI Tam 3. The team of five (the above plus Rebecca) expressed thanks to their sponsors, Winstone Pulp International, King Country Spraying, and Jeff and Rosaleen Morris.
