Wild horse group formed
A society which claims to have the best interests of the Ruapehu region 's wild horses was formed inTaupo recently, The Kaimanawa Wild Horse Preservation Society intends to set up a breed register of the animals, with their aim being to preserve and protect the Kaimanawa horses, as well as monitoring the welfare of the 233 animals captured last year.
