Swim school a popular pastime

KaneMott (5), Nicholas Treweek (5), Samantha Treweek (2), and Andrew Mott {4} took time out from Saturdaymorning's swimming club at the Ohakune Baths, to catch some rays. A number of children aged 2-13 took to the water for instruction from the volunteer coaches on hand. The club has also proved popular with some adults who receive coaching at the baths on Wednesday nights. Heating thepoblthisyearhas led to the increased popularity of Ohakune swimming. Last year it was uneconomic to heat the water as there were masslve leaks in the pool.
