Spring in her step
Elayne Weller, netball whizz with the touring 'Kune Carrots, was promoted to goal defence by the rest of the team after an amazing bit of athleticism on the weekend when a wandering wasp found its way up her shorts leg. Observers say the unfortunate Elayne broke speed records and defied gravity - form the rest of the team hope she will emulate on the netball courts in Dunedin. *On a more serious note, staff at the Bulletin fervently hope that Elayne will be fit enough to compete at the Masters Games with the rest of the team.
