Fashion for windows
High fashion window and door coverings have finally found a market niche in the Ruapehu region since Ohakune-based builder Mark Freemantle took on the role of agent. Mark and his partner Janet recently became local agents for Weathermaster's comprehensive range of blinds, awnings and screens. Their staggering range combined with competitive prices and friendly home-town service means that Waimarino people can now have the smartest house on the street, without having to travel out of town. The quality of Weathermaster products is hard to beat, according to Mark, who says that every order is custom-made at the company's huge Palmerston North factory, with workmanship guaranteed. The company manufacture every type of blind currently on the market, including the ultramodern high-fashion micro blinds, and wooden venetians. These come in a huge variety of colours and finishes - a complete set of swatches is carried by the couple for clients to browse through. Alternatively, clients may select their own finish and have it made to suit. It is not just windows that are receiving the full treatment: Weathermaster's range of security window and door fittings, insect screens, canvas and aluminium awnings are second to none, with a high element of fashion in all products. The company also carries a large range of curtain tracks and wooden rods. Another service on offer is that of repair and cleaning of existing blinds and window fittings. Mark and Janet invite local people to take advantage of their free measure and quote service. They intend to service the entire Ruapehu region, including Taihape and Taumarunui.
