King Country Energy staff have come across an inherited problem while laying a high voltage cable in Mangawhero Terrace, Ohakune. Pictured is the new cable draped across the unearthed two concrete walls of the fluming from the old Ohakune Power Station. The fluming once took all the water from the Mangawhero Stream down beside the terrace to the power station near the corner of Lee Street.
