A bunch of teachers went on their usual round of carol singing at end-of-term, to the very wee small hours. At one house they got no reaction but sang anyway. Next morning they found out why that audience hadn't chucked a bucket of water at them, they were still out on the town themselves! (Singing carols outside the other lot's windows!?)
