Early pay-day

People who receive a fortnightly benefit from New Zealand Income Support Service will be paid on 24 December instead of 28 December. New Zealand Income Support Service Wanganui District Office have announced. Because 28 December is a statutory holiday and banking services are closed, we have brought the pay-day forward," said Wanganui district manager, Mrs Susan Kerfoot. Mrs Kerfoot said the change in pay-day applies to: Domestic Purposes Benefit; National Superannuation; Invalids Benefit; Widows Benefit; Veterans Pension; War Disablement Pension; Orphans and Unsupported Child's Benefit. "If you don't receive one of these benefits or pensions you will be paid on the normal date. "Income declaration forms should be completed as normal over the Christmas period."
