Sheep truck Santa

Santa was greeted by a huge cheer from the children who were waiting patiently for him at the Waimarino Club Saturday last week. He arrived, not with sleighbells ringing, in Barrett and Taura's sheep truck. The fire siren had sounded a few minutes before, making sure the children knew to expect Santa. Santa and his fairy made the children very happy with a lolly scramble and then presents. He acknowledged those who were on their best behaviour and calmed those who were a little nervous. Also on the day were lots of games and plenty to eat and drink thanks to the workers. The adults who remained after the children had left enjoyed a barbecue, finishing with their own personally-created cocktail.
