Tennis
The following officers were elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Raetihi Tennis Club recently: patron Faith Wise; president Rob Anderson; secretary/treasurer Nancy Winter. The future of the club was discussed and it was decided to keep the club operating. An opening day for the adults will take place on Sunday 19 December at 1 pm, with all members and intending members most welcome. Inclement weather has
not helped to promote an early start to tennis this season and as a result reduced subscriptions will operate with adults at $10 and primary school children at $3. It was planned to have an inter-house teams-of-four twilight midweek tennis competition beginning 1 February 1994. Refer to classified advertisement for full details of this event.
