Bridge

Wednesday 1 December was officially the final night of bridge for the year and the occasion was marked with wine and nibbles and a few hands of cards. Winning the final north-

south comeptition for 1993 were Brian Eades and Gordon Mottram who scored 61.47%. Second place went to Jack McLean and Judith Hollyer who finished on 53.84%. Les Burns and Tracy Ennis took first place in the

east-west competition scoring 59.73% and very close behind on 59.66% were Bill Te Karu and Dave Taylor. Bridge will begin again in February 1994 and dates will be advertsied in due course.
