Challenge at hotel
The Ultimate Lion Red Challenge is being held at the Ruapehu Hotel. There are 1 1 teams entered, not as many as we hoped, but a good crowd of supporters were there to cheer the teams on. This week's challenge, the second in the series, will be euchre and is being held on Wednesday night 8 December at 6.30pm. The fol-
lowing week' s challenge is 8 ball on 15 December, with the final being held on 18 December. The final will be a quiz and karaoke night for the teams. This will make a great ending for the challenge and the Raetihi Christmas Carnival being held during the day. The first challenge of darts took place last Wednesday with the follow-
ing results. First SAC 100 points, second Lions 95 points, third Guns & Roses 80 points. This order could all change after Wednesday.
