Ohakune Club □ The 'Living Proof' rock and roll roadshow, currently touring New Zealand, will play in the upstairs lounge on Friday 3 December. Admission $8. □ Children' s Christmas Party for member' s children aged under 1 0 years on Sunday 12 December. Raetihi Cosmopolitan Club □ Because of last weekend' s atrocious weather the annual inter-club bowls tournament between the Club and its next-door neighbour, the Waimarino (RSA) Club was cancelled. It will be re-scheduled to a date early in the new year. □ A senior citizens Christmas Party will be held at the Club on Monday 6 December. □ This coming Saturday

(27 November) a bus load of Club members will be heading up to Auckland to attend the Englebert Humperdinck concert. Waimarino (RSA) Club □ The annual bowls tournament against the 'Cossie' Club (see above) was cancelled owing to constant rain and water-logged greens. Because of other commitments over the Christmas/New Year period this tournament will be staged early next year. □ Last Wednesday a party of 'Golden Oldies' from Waitara (Taranaki) stopped over at the Club for refreshments as they headed towards the Queen Elizabeth II Army Memorial Museum in Waiouru. Also on Wednesday the Club hosted a group of local sen-

ior citizens. □ Reminder: parents wishing to register their youngster for. the Club's children' s Christmas Party on Saturday 4 December should do so by this coming weekend.
