Telecom entry to feature on Christmas card series
An entry in the recent Telecom Regional Art Award by Ruapehu College pupil Lindsay Cast will appear on Telecom' s series of executive Christmas cards. Lindsay' s entry entitled 'Mountain To The Sea' finished in the top 20, from 120 entries. The winning entry, by Wanganui man George Raymond, appears on the cover of the 1994 Wanganui telephone directory. Appropriately Mt Ruapehu is a dominant feature of Lindsay' s entry, offset by native bush and sea converging in a Koru design.
