Raetihi Hardware changed hands during Labour Weekend: it's new owners are Neil and Margaret Black. The' previous owner, Keith Harford, retired after 18 years. Mr Harford has spent the past Week familiarising the Blacks with the business. Their plans at this stage are to expand the business. The couple intend to expand the building and develop a home decor centre which will include carpet and vinyl. They also intend to extend the shop's current range of

appliances, Fresh in l&t week were a variety of microwave, and microconconvection ovens to , start the ball rolling. As well as being agents for Nu Look Joinery, Neil and Margaret intend to carry on the services offered by Keith, including glass and key cutting and photocopying. Margaret intends to install a studio in the shop where she will be able to.indulge her love of portrait painting. Neil will run the newly acquired store, as well as his growing sideline as a builder.
