Bridge

There was a better am-out for bridge on Wednesday with 24 boards played over six tables. The north/south eompetition was won by Jack McLean and Judith Hollyer with 55.13%. There were quite a few positional changes in the minor placings due to handicapping, with the following results: Gordon Mottram and his better half Jenny, took second place with 49.15% and third place went to Heather Cranston and Tracy Ennis with 48.90%. There were also positional changes in the east/west direction. Les Burns and Jim Cranston shared first place with Ron Frew and Brian Eades but after handicapping both pairs were relegated to second and third places with 60.78% and 55.63% respectively. First place was eventually won by Doug and Tephany Bennett, who were promoted from third place, with a final score of 65.55%.
