Good neighbour
• In reply to last week's letter by J J Waerea. Jay, if you have left Mangarawa Road for good then you will be missed. One could not ask for a better neighbour. As for your point about the rates, it's true, we don't get street-lights, sewerage, water, footpaths, rubbish collection etc. but what we do have now, and didn't when Hope Vaughn ran the County is a Chief Executive Officer and his staff on exorbitant salaries. Don't you think they ara worth it Jay? Or would you rather see a few of them laid-off and not the workers who have been dumped by our
over-paid Council Executive.
