Nationals at Whakapapa
The Fresh-up National Ski Championships trip the wand today (Tuesday) at Whakapapa Ski Area, and run to Friday 17 September. The race is organised by the Northern Ski Association and features a men's and women's Giant Slalom race on the Haensli Face and a Men's
and Women's Slalom in Te Heu Heu Valley. Spokesperson for the organising committee, Scott Lee, said all the country's top skiers will be present and an exciting series is expected. Also running this week is the Whakapapa Ski Shop Slalom for men and women, on Thursday.
