Pupils provide pens for Bosnia

Waiouru Primary School children have been working hard collecting pencils and paper to send to children in Bosnia. The children put up posters and sent letters home to encourage the whole community to send along pencils and paper following a call by Radio Taranaki for donations. Standard 3 and 4 children were collectors for the stationery. Many Bosnian children are unable to attend school because they do not have any stationery or school supplies. The pupils from Standard 3 and 4 have also written letters of encouragement to the children who will receive their donations.
