Waimarino Plunket AGM's
Both Ohakune and Raetihi sub-branches of Plunket have recently held Annual General Meetings. The officers for Ohakune Plunket are: president Kath Craig, secretary Jennifer Cossar, treasurer Marian Bishop. Other committee members are: Cathy Horne, Robyn Wilson, Dee Porter, Marie Milne and Julie Nation. Waimarino
Branch representatives are C Horne, K Craig, J Cossar and M Milne. Raetihi Plunket officers and committee are: president Pauline Brennan, secretary Tiffany Jefferies, treasurer Catherine Meyer, catering co-ordinator Jane Eades, car-seat co-ordinator Marie Martin. Waimarino Branch representatives are M Martin and P Brennan. Both committees would
like to thank all auxiliary helpers who assisted on stalls, with baking, or when needed for other projects. Raetihi Plunket are especially appreciative of the Raetihi and area mothers who cooked or assisted with catering. Last month both areas had checkpoints for the nation-wide Plunket carrestraint campaign. The survey results were: Ohakune - Arawa Street,
by the Primary School - 60.4 per cent of all children in vehicles were restrained; Goldfinch Street, (by New World) - 90.5 per cent restrained. Raetihi - Seddon and Pitt Streets - 76.7 per cent restrained. The national av- , erage was 81 per cent restrained. Both committees definitely need new members and welcome anyone to join at any time, not just
at the AGM's. This includes grandparents and older parents, Plunket will gladly accept your help on committee.
