Dick Clark, brother-in-law of Robin Rowles, and Main Trunk Rail Ohakune chairman Bob Norling plant one of a number of trees in memory of Mr Rowles, who was killed in the Makaranui car crash last Tuesday. Mr Rowles was a keen worker on the rail restoration project, especially the locomotive turntable pictured in the background.
