The annual Manson Cup clash played between Waimarino and Taumarunui resulted in a win for the home club by 34 points to Taumarunui' s 30. Individual Results: Senior Men - J Dowle (Taum) 42, B Drinkwater (Waim) 40, A Condon (Waim) 38, J Ennis, P Goldfinch and B Thomson 36; Junior Men - D Blackburn (Waim) 45, C Allerby (Waim) 41, N Black (Waim) 40, C Heinold 36, C O'Brian 36, R Bartlet 35; Ladies - E Rush 34, L Drinkwater 33, E Goldfinch, J Brown and H Warren 32. P Samson scored the only two. Sponsors foi the day were Turoa Ski Lodge and the Bank of New Zealand, Raetihi.
