Bridge

Bridge on Wednesday 28 July was a rowdy affair and was due, in part to too much good food and wine which was partaken of beforehand. Partners were

mixed about and as a result so was some of the bidding. Best performed pair on the night, in the northsouth direction, were Brian Eades and Ron Martin (a jack-up for sure) who finished with 54.72%.

Second were, Tracy Ennis and Gordon Mottram who weren't too far behind on 53.57%. Mark Hays and Pauline Le Noel scored 5 1 .09% to take third place. The other-halves of the winning north-south team, Ron Frew and Heather Cranston, took out the east-west competition with the evenings top overall score of 62.90%. Jenny Mottram and Les Burns scored 57.12% to take second place and third place with 52.10% went to Tephany and Doug Bennett.
