Rick Lowe from the Ohakune Hotel tries his hand at freeing a trapped car accident victim, using the Ohakune Fire Brigade's new hydraulic ram. The ram, capable of shifting 16.5 tonnes, is useful for rolling the dash board area of a car off a person. The Ohakune Hotel Trust donated the $5500 needed to buy the equipment.
