Fire drive
by

Some members of the Raetihi Volunteer Fire Brigade spent two recent Sundays attending a driving course held in Raetihi. They had to be holders of a heavy traffic licence before they could do the course, which is designed to give confi-
dence to the driver when .driving a heavyweighted appliance, such as a fire engine, to an emergency situation. The driving course has to be completed by a member of the Fire Brigade before that person is allowed to drive an appliance in an emergency situation.
