By

sldeline

Ohakune-Karioi are back on track after a convincing win over Ratana, 26 to 6. They played an entertaining game on a wet and slippery surface on Saturday. The game showed that Ohakune-Karioi were prepared to run the ball no matter what the conditions. They scored four tries, two by Aisea Balibasaga and one each by Richard Mathews and Rewaru Tehema. Lachlan Harding kicked three conversions. Ratana, in the rebuilding stages are not the team seen at Rochfort Park in recent years, but show a lot of potential in the young team. Player of the day was Josaia (Joe) Vokaibusa. Supporters' player of the day was Jason Hern.

Jacqui/John, Helen/Ray, Dawn/Dave with two wins, Kathy and Moss won the magnifying glass.
