Raetihi Seniors had a bye on Saturday 3 July. The following are the results of the team for the season so far: Raetihi won three games against Wanganui Boys College and Old Boys 22-20, Utiku Old Boys 86, Wanganui Pirates 2112; Raetihi lost nine games against Ohakune-Karioi 46-13, Wanganui Counties 798, Waverley 83-0, Marton 22-15, Kaierau 50-5, Waiouru 28-16, Marist 52-8, Hunterville 10-3, Huia 38-3. Try scorers for the season: P Trow four; J Heron four; E Taura, two; W Kyle, C Bishop, M Wihare, A McCann and T Rawiri one each. Conversions: D McDonnell four. Penalties: D McDonnell 12; W TeHuia one. Adult riding (Waimarino Adult Riding Club) The AGM was held on 17 June with a good turnout of members and the president's and treasurers reports being accepted.

Subscriptions remain at $10 per member and the following officers were re-elected president, Mrs E Cooper, vice-president Mrs D Hill and secretary/treasurer Mrs A Maru and all members are on the committee. At the ordinary meeting which followed, the next ride was planned for Saturday 3 July. A report was given on the Kaitieke Games Day and the hunts members had attended. Five members confirmed they would attend the National AGM in Masterton on 24 July. The next meeting will be at Mrs J Mottram's on Thursday 8 July. All members and potential members are welcome. Videos on shoeing and laminitis problems will be shown. Ruapehu Hotel sports 8 Ball: Ruapehu Hotel Social Club 8 Ball winners were, with the highest break of 11 Jimmy Jam $45. Second equal TK and Dinny with 7, third equal Fatty and Dinny with 6. The lucky member draw, 3, went to TK, $10. Darts: The ' winners were: Highest start Austin; Highest finish

A special congratulations to Bowie Ponga on his 180 throw, the first one done since we started on 27 June. $50 winner was Kushane Hiroti. The finals are on Thursday. Waimarino golf The second qualifying round saw a much better field taking part in the day's competition on the weekend. The caddies results were as follows: 1st Jan Pellett nett 71, on the toss from G Whale and G Fraser also on 71. Junior Men - M Lloyd and N Black both scored nett 70 with M Lloyd winning on the toss; K Herewini Jnr 3rd with a nett 71; P Hansen and M McNeill 72; D Blackburn, R Brown and G Pepere 73. Senior Men - Gary Allerby tumed in a 75 off the stick to give him a nett 66 for 1st place; Jim Corbett and M Steele both shot nett 68; J Ennis next with a 69. Two's were scored by:
