Trees for Goldfinch Street

Three cherry trees in Goldfinch are to be removed and replaced with Norway Spruce and gleditsia. The Waimarino Community Board agreed last Thursday that the cherry trees which are in a poor state should be removed. The Ohakune Retailers Association asked the council for approval for a tree planting project, offering to spend $2000 on trees in the area.
