Raetihi school reports by Shelly Shearsby Walnut the Clown will be visiting Raetihi Primary School on Wednesday 14 July and will be performing for the children in the Junior Syndicate. A cycle safety show which is being run by Margaret Brider will also be visiting the school on the day with two shows on cycle safety. "The senior and middle syndicate children have over the last two weeks visited the dinosaur display in Wellington. The children had a great time and are really enjoying the follow-up work in the classroom. Many thanks to the teachers for organising the trips and the parents who accompanied the children and assisted in supervising the children," said principal Neil Hammond. "Last Friday afternoon at our school assembly we were entertained by the Turoa Tumblers. They gave a fabulous gymnastics display," commented Mr Hammond. Their visit was to encourage more Raetihi children to join the Turoa Tumblers.
