Cash for fire brigade
Max Martin accepts a cheque for $500 for the Ohakune Volunteer Fire Brigade on Saturday from Lion lan Strachan. Ruapehu Lions gave away the profits from their recent district convention, $500 to the brigade for rescue tender equipment, $500 each to Raetihi and Ohakune Primary Schools, $500 to Ruapehu College who provided the conference venue, and $500 to the New Plymouth youth band who entertained.
