Thursday 8 Yeti comes down from his mountain to join in the Ohakune Carrot Christmas, 3.30pm. Friday 16 Turoa Card $1 Day. Turoa Card holders ski for just $1. Saturday 17 DB Export Dry 'Dummy Downhill'. Make your own 'dummy' on skis, then race it for great prizes! Top of the Giant 1pm. Sunday 18 Mumm Champagne Ski Displays. See our Ski School Instructors strut their stuff. 24-25 Diet Pepsi Junior Race Series. Race 1 of 3. For all young skiers up to 14 years. Sunday 25 Mumm Champagne Ski Display. August Saturday 7 Rossignol 'Dash for the Stash'. Teams of three (one runner and two defenders) line up and the first runner to make it through the wall of defenders to the finish-line wins for their team. Great prizes. Sunday 8 Mumm Champagne Ski Display. Friday 13 Red Nose Day. Purchase your red nose at our ski shop and get a great discount on your ski pass. 14-15 Titleist Golf Classic. Show us your drive and be in to win a 1994 Season Pass for the first hole in one or the closest golf ball to the hole. Ilam - 1pm at the Top of the Giant. Saturday 21 DB Export Dry 'Sumo in the Snow' Sumo in the Snow. Kick off your skis and try your hand at a bit of Sumo wrestling - Kiwi style. 28-29 Diet Pepsi Junior Race Series. Race 2 of 3. All skiers up to 14 years are welcome to come and have a go. September 30 Aug - 10 Sep Free Ski Wee Programme. Two hours of free supervised fun for the kids so Mum and Dad can have a break. Saturday 4 Cricket in the Snow with two of the New Zealand Cricket Team. Sunday 5 Yeti's Birthday Party. All Yeti Club members are invited to come and celebrate. Father's Day Race. Celebrate Father's day by joining in our father and kid's 'Cardboard Box Race'. Design your cardboard box to fly down the slope and your Dad could win a 1994 Season Pass and there are some
great prizes for the kids too. Sponsored by Continental Airlines. Thursday 9 Yeti's Treasure Hunt. All Yeti Club members are invited to join in the fun at Yeti's treasure hunt. The Yeti Club is free to join. Saturday 11 Mumm Champagne Celebrity Day. Come and see the thrills and spills with lots of your favourite New Zealand Celebrities letting their hair down. Sunday 19 Mumm Champagne Ski Display. Women's Suffrage Day Walk to the Crater. Phillipa Baker, the gold medallist rower, will guide a walk to the crater lake. All those women who make it to the top will receive a free day pass for use any time before the end of the 1993 season. (PS You don't have to be a skier to come). 25-26 Diet Pepsi Bumper Sticker Day. Pick up a Diet Pepsi bumper sticker from the ticket office or Snow Hosts on Saturday, display it on your car in the car park on Sunday and be in to win. October Friday Twilight Sking. Ski till 6pm for the normal rate. Why not knock off work early and come up for the afternoon? 2-3 Diet Pepsi Junior Race Series. Final Race 3. For all young skiers up to 14 years. Youths Ski Free - That's right youths up to 16 years old ski absolutely free. 9-10 The Small World Cup Ski Race. The under 8's get a chance to show their competitive edge in a fun race just for them. Monday 11 Peak to Powderkeg. A triathlon with a difference - ski, run and bike for some fantastic prizes including a 1994 season pass, mountain bike and skis plus lots of spot prizes.
