Waimarino golf
With the pennant team away only a small field competed the days competition. In the senior men A Condon took 1st place with 38 points, with T Geraghty winning 2nd place on the toss from four others on 33. In the junior men M Lloyd kept up his good form to take 1st place
with 41 points, 2nd was N Black with 35 with A Murdie and D Blackburn on 34. First for the ladies was Jill Martin on 33, L Drinkwater got 31 and Glenda Whale a two. Sponsors for the day were Wrightsons and DemDsev buses.
