8 ball
On Tuesday night, 15 June the Ruapehu Hotel Social Club (8 ball) ran their first 8 ball singles. It's been many a year since the Club has made a full commitment to 8 ball. The organiser is
Barney Hoddan with Fatty Hiroti and Boma Rapana as assistant organisers. The winners for the night were in two categories, one for men and one for women. The winning women for the night were: 3rd Lillian Haddan, 2nd Pewe Christensen, lst Maua Condon. Men's: 3rd T K Honatana, 2nd Boma Rapana, lst Fatty
Hiroti. The half-dozen cans went to the umpire of the night Rauna TeHuia. Thanks went to the Bulletin for spreading our events and also to Te Reo Irirangi Ki Ruapehu. Any enquiries ask for Steph in Raetihi (8 ball or darts) or Social Club. Also thanked were the umpires. Club night is Tuesday night.
