Bull sale
Un rnday 4 June Te Wheronui Santa Gertrudis held their 3rd Annual Bull sale. Thirteen commercial bulls were sold for an average price of $2,630 with three bulls selling for the top price of $4,000. These went to buyers from Warkworth, Wairoa and Waverly. Other bulls went to Gisborne, Stratford and the Wanganui area, most of whom were repeat buyers. The bulls were in excellent condition and showed the very good temperament that the Te Wheronui Santas are getting renowned for.
