• The theft of two steel galvanised gates from a Parapara Road farm property last week, brings the total number of gates stolen within the Waimarino to 13. • A stock saddle was stolen from a house on Middle Road, Raetihi sometime between 30-31 May. The theft was not reported to the Ohakune Police until last week. • A 16-year old Raetihi youth will appear in the Children and Young Person 's Court on Thursday 17 June, on two charges of dangerous driving, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and failure to stop, following a high-speed pursuit by Police last week (see story front page.)
