Waste of money on waste?

• I am very concerned to hear about the 'junket' that the council have organised as part of their waste management plan. Ten people, in buses, motel accommodation and meals, going as far north as

Thames to look at dumps and waste management! Have you ever heard of such blatant waste of taxpayers' money? Can't they get the information in printed form or couldn't one person go

and report back? It seems that the rest of us are working harder and tightening our belts and struggling to pay our rates while the council and their various committees continue to spend money in this very wasteful wav!
