Car seats wanted back
As from last week, all car seats belonging to the Waimarino Plunket Car Seat Rental Scheme are now held and distributed by K.G. Bennett Furnishers in Seddon St, Raetihi. Car seats may be ob-
tained during the business 's normal operating hours and families are reminded to ensure seats are booked before the baby is due. Co ordinator Debbie Alabaster advised the Ruapehu Bulletin that a number of seats are still
outstanding in the community, either not returned or unpaid for. "We are a volunteer organisation and can't afford to absorb these costs", she said. "This service is for all children in the Waimarino and we don't want to deny ]
another child the opportunity to use this service because of such misuse." Mrs Alabaster can be contacted by phoning 3854 532 regarding these accounts, if families wish to avoid legal proceedings.
