The Raetihi Senior Rugby team had a home game on Saturday 17 April which was played at the Show-grounds 'against Utiku Old Boys. Raetihi beat Utiku Old Boys 8-6 with a try scored by Edward Taura who was backing up Brendan Kavanagh when the break was made. The penalty that won the game for Raetihi was kicked by Darren McDonnell. Kerry Wells successfully kicked two penalties for Utiku Old Boys. Next week Raetihi Seniors play OhakuneKarioi in Ohakune.
