The mill is located at the base of Mount Ruapehu approximately 15km from the town of Ohakune. Presently there exists the opportunity for a Process Engineer. The appointee will report to the Technical Manager and assume responsibility for project work, mill troubleshooting, technical assistance to the various departments and certain day-to-day functions. The role would ideally suit a person with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a continuous process. A degree in Chemical Engineering or other similar qualification is preferred and experience in the pulp and paper industry would also be a major advantage. Key personal qualities are: self motivation, to be able to work with a minimum supervision and have good communication skills. The position offers a competitive salary package and superannuation.
