Travel winners
Local interest washigh in the Bank of New Zealand's recent Century Bond promotion, with 162 bonds being purchased within Oha-kune and Raetihi. Three of the 500 Air New Zealand travel
vouchers up for grabs nationwide were won by Waimarino people, although the main prizes of 20 Toyota Corollas were won elsewhere, with the closest location being Wanganui where a tatai of two cars were won. Waimarino bond holders Harry Brown,
Trudy Nation and Jim Cranston received Air New Zealand national travel vouchers to the value of $350 each. Those bond holders not lucky enough to win prizes in the latest draw will have to wait until next year when a second draw is made.
