With daylight saving over the numbers at Bridge are improving and on Wednesday 31 March 18 people attended and played a total of 20 boards. Sandra Eades and Jenny Mottram were well out in front in the northsouth direction winning with a score of 63.17%. The competition for the minor placings was quite intense with only two points separating the next three placings. Second place was won by Glenda Whale and Elaine Goldfinch with 49.67%. Those players in the east-west competition had quite a wide-spread point count with John Eades and Les Burns in first place with 64.13% and Ron Frew and Pauline Le Noel in second place with 51.67%.
