Ohakune bridge club results

Ron Frew and Brian Eades finished bridge on Wednesday night with a remarkable 102 points out of a possible 124 points giving them first place in the east-west competition. Even after handicapping they were still 18.5% ahead of second place getters Sarah Hamlin and Margaret Cornwall who scored 48.33%.

The north- south competition was more closely contested with Ron Martin and Heather Cranston winning on the night over Jack McLean and Les Burns. However after handicapping these placings were reversed with Ron and Heather finishing with 51.67% and Jack and Les scoring 51.97%.
