• Ohakune Police, acting on information received, exercised warrants on several Waimarino addresses on Friday 26 March. A 20year old male was arrested on one drugs-related charge. • The burglary of a holiday house in Foyle Street, Ohakune was discovered during the weekend. The incident took place sometime in the past 4-5 weeks. Police reported that little was taken and say the breakin is similar to a number of other offences reported recently. • A ladies' pink Avanti 10-speed bicycle was stolen from a Raetihi address on the weekend. Police enquiries are continuing.

• A 17-year old female was apprehended shoplifting by staff of Ohakune New World. No formal charges were laid, instead the teenager will assist staff with general clean-up duties for a specified period.
