Council land zone change
A change to the zone for a council-owned section in Miro Street, Ohakune, was passed without discussion at last week's Ruapehu District Council meeting. The section, next to the council offices, was changed from Commercial A to Residential A zone. The reason for the change was that the section was surplus to council requirements, and that it would rationalise the use of the section with the surrounding area.
