Bridge

Bridge on Wednesday night consisted of twenty-one boards played in a Howell movement. Ron Martin and Judith Hollier top scored on the night and took first place with a handicap adjusted score of 53.45%. Second place went to Heather Cranston and Jack McLean, with a score of 50.88%, while Jenny Mottram and Lauretta Eades scored 43.85% to take third place. Fourth place for the evening went to Brian Eades and Colin Cox who finished with 42.04%.

Later walks may extend further if required. An entertaining talk and demonstration was given by Adrienne Maru on floral art and flower arranging and the members enjoyed this very much. Also discussed at the meeting was the successful bus trip to the Taumarunui Senior Citizens Club. A full busload of 27 members went to Taumarunui.
