Bridge results
The numbers at bridge on Wednesday were bolstered somewhat by several visitors from Taihape. Four tables were used playing a total of 20 boards. Jenny Mottra'm and Heather Cranston were a winning combination 'taking the north-south competition with 56.6%. In second place were Les Burns and Bev Cox with 51.6%. The Taihape pairing of Janine Oates and her partner Ann were the best east-west combination winning with a score of 55%, with Pauline Le Noel and Colin Cox scoring 51.6% for second place.
