Raetihi squash

To start the Raetihi squash season off, a tournament was held in the first weekend of March. Due to the Club being closed over the previous two months for much needed re-plaster-ing and painting, it was the first time many had played squash. The main results were: Men's division 1: 1st R Gillet, 2nd G Irwin. Men's division 2: 1st C Bennett, 2nd J Christensen. Women's

division 1: 1st A Irwin, 2nd S Marumaru. Women's division 2: 1st M Anderson, 2nd T Hammond. - A special thank you was expressed for the few members who put in a lot of time and hard work for the club over the last two months. The committee wishes all players a very successful year and welcomes any new members. The club plans an in-ter-business tournament for April.
